About Andrew Kim, M.D.
Andrew Kim, M.D. is a radiologist specializing in Neuroradiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Kim graduated from Columbia University in 2011 where he earned his B.A. in Biology and Economics, magna cum laude, and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa society. He then received his M.D. at New York University School of Medicine in 2016.
Following an internship at Montefiore Medical Center, Dr. Kim completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwell Health in 2021. He completed his fellowship in Neuroradiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ from 2021-2022. Dr. Kim joined the faculty at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ in July 2022 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology.
Dr. Kim’s clinical expertise is in Neuroradiology. He interprets imaging studies including CT and MRI involving the head and neck, brain, and spine. Dr. Kim also performs a variety of image-guided neuro-interventional procedures.
His research interests are in head and neck imaging, as well as neuro-interventional procedures. In addition to clinical and research activities, Dr. Kim is an active educator of radiology residents, neuroradiology fellows, and medical students.
