Personal Statement

Dr. Anqi Zheng is an academic Internal Medicine physician who is committed to providing comprehensive primary care. She values communication with her patients and developing long-term relationships. She is committed to helping patients be as healthy as possible. To do so, she enjoys providing preventative care, managing chronic issues, and coordinating specialist care to address each of her patients' medical concerns. Dr. Zheng's academic interests are in medical education and the provision of culturally competent care for patients of all backgrounds.

Biographical Info

Dr. Zheng attended Cornell University for her undergraduate degree where she graduated magna cum laude in Biological Engineering. She earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Then she completed her Internal Medicine Residency training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, New York City. At residency graduation, she was awarded the John Graney Primary Care Excellence Award for exceptional work in the primary care setting. She was then an Ambulatory Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Beth Israel where she was involved in the education and mentorship of medical residents and students in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
