Personal Statement

I am a medical oncologist who specializes in cancers of the lung and thymus. I work closely with our multidisciplinary team of expert thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, palliative care/pain management specialists, and nutritionists to provide comprehensive care for our patients. I view each patient and their disease as unique and work to manage their treatment accordingly, always keeping their goals in mind. In order to provide new hopes for the future of lung cancer treatment, our division is also involved in clinical research focusing on precision medicine, immunotherapy, and novel therapeutics as well as laboratory research to better understand this disease.
