Personal Statement

Dr. Benjamin Brody is Division Director for inpatient psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan and Westchester Behavioral Health Center in White Plains. He also maintains a private practice focusing on the evaluation and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, along with relationship, interpersonal, and career-related problems. He uses a combination of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Dr. Brody sees patients virtually and in person at both his Manhattan and White Plains locations. 

Dr. Brody’s research and commentaries have been published in The American Journal of Psychiatry, The New England Journal of Medicine, and The New York Times. 

Biographical Info

Dr. Benjamin Brody is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his residency training at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital Payne Whitney Clinic and joined the faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College in 2011.
