About Daniela Trocchia, N.P.
I became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner because I feel strongly about providing patient and family-focused care, optimizing patient safety, and ensuring quality healthcare for children of all ages. My goal is to create an environment where patients and their families feel empowered to be active participants in their care and feel safe and supported.
Ms. Daniela Trocchia is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition.
Ms. Trocchia received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Geneseo. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at New York University where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then received a Master of Science in Pediatric Advanced Practice Nursing at New York University. Ms. Trocchia is board certified in pediatric primary care by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). Ms. Trocchia worked as a Registered Nurse for 6 years in the Pediatric Intensive Care unit at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center before continuing her career in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Ms. Trocchia’s areas of particular interest include inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, and pediatric nutritional disorders.

Relationships and collaborations with for-profit and not-for profit organizations are of vital importance to our faculty because these exchanges of scientific information foster innovation. As experts in their fields, WCM physicians and scientists are sought after by many organizations to consult and educate. WCM and its faculty make this information available to the public, thus creating a transparent environment.
