Biographical Info

Dr Cheng trained in this department for four years as a resident in AP/CP, and completed a Fellowship Training in Breast Pathology. She is board-certified in both AP and CP. During residency, her participation in translational research resulted in multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and departmental conferences. She won multiple awards for participation in translational research work including Best Research Presentation at the WCM Resident Research Day in 2015 and 2016, Best Pathology Digital Photo Contest at the WCM Resident Research Day and Best Poster Abstract Presentation at American Society of Dermatopathology. She became ASCP's 40 Under Forty Honoree along with 39 other distinguished junior pathologists. As a medical student, she was awarded membership into Psi Sigma Alpha and Sigma Sigma Phi (Omega Chapter).
