Kary Leung is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner working under the supervision of Dr. Jim Hu at the Lefrak Center for Robotic Surgery within the Department of Urologic Oncology at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ. Kary has expertise in managing a variety of patients with urologic and oncologic diseases such as prostate cancer, bladder cancer, renal cancer, testicular cancer, and benign urologic disorders. Kary completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and completed her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner at New York University. Kary provides comprehensive, evidenced based medical care intended to create an environment where her patients feel safe, respected, and heard. Kary also believes in establishing transparent and open communications with her patients to better understand their medical concerns. Prior to working at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ, Kary worked as a Registered Nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital specializing in Uro-Oncology and as a Nurse Practitioner at Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center specializing in Addiction Medicine Psychiatry.
