Kenji Ikemura received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine in Biomedical Engineering in 2012, and his M.D. degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois in 2018. His post-doctoral training included time spent as an anatomic and clinical pathology resident at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein Medical College and a molecular genetics pathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Following his molecular fellowship, he became a fellow in clinical informatics at the Mass General Brigham Hospital in Boston from 2023-2024. Dr. Ikemura is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology (2022) as well as in molecular genetics pathology (2023). He has received several awards from Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein Medical College. Dr. Ikemura has also had the opportunity to give national research presentations in the area of application of machine learning in pathology. He will join our faculty as Director of Clinical Informatics.
