About Meenakshi Davuluri, M.D.
I believe that it is important to empower the patient to be an active part of the medical and surgical decision-making process. I work closely with each individual patient to help him/her understand the urologic issue and communicate effectively, so that together, we can find the best personalized treatment.
Dr. Davuluri joined the Weill Cornell Urology team after completing her General Surgery internship and Urology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center. She received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society. Prior to medical school, she received her Master's in Public Health from Dartmouth College.
She has published numerous papers within Urology as well as authored chapters for Urologic textbooks. She also has served as a reviewer for major urologic journals. She is passionate about disparities in healthcare and is a fellow with Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ’s Department of Population Health Sciences.
Dr. Davuluri’s current research focuses on outcomes associated with prostate cancer treatment and improving the quality of life in prostate cancer survivors. She is an active member of the American Urologic Association, New York Section of the AUA, and the American Medical Association.
