Biographical Info

Dr. Meera Nasir is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Nasir is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and a Hospitalist at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.

Previously, Dr. Nasir led three OB Hospitalist teams in South Florida. She served as Medical Director of the Obstetrical ED at South Miami Hospital and at Baptist Hospital of Miami. She also managed the OB Hospitalist team at Nicklaus Children's Hospital's Fetal Care Center. Prior to being an OB Hospitalist, she spent time as a faculty attending in the Bronx and then went on to six years in academic medicine serving as the Clerkship Director and, subsequently, the Residency Director at NYU Brooklyn.

Although her career thus far has brought her a wide variety of experiences, Dr. Nasir holds a true passion for OB hospitalist medicine. From a Safety and Quality perspective, hospitalist medicine provides access to high-quality emergency obstetrical care to patients in their most critical moments. Being able to support these patients with the most current, evidence-based practices has given her such invaluable experience and gratitude.
