David H. Koch Center 9th Floor: New Operations and Billing FAQs

As part of NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center鈥檚 ongoing efforts to continuously improve our programs and facilities to better serve you, NewYork-Presbyterian and 麻豆传媒高清版 will integrate their operations on the ninth floor of the David H. Koch Center, effective November 29, 2022. While this change will not affect your current plan of care, you will see a difference in the billing for your medical care in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Endocrine ICHANGE, Liver Transplant, Kidney-Pancreas Transplant, and the Transplant Psychiatry clinic located in the center.

Beginning November 29, 2022, NewYork-Presbyterian will administer and bill for injections, transplant infusions, lab tests, breath tests, and facility charges, while 麻豆传媒高清版 will bill for the professional (physicians and nurse practitioners) component of your visit. Both NewYork-Presbyterian and 麻豆传媒高清版 will continue to submit bills to your health benefit plan according to the information we have on record. You will now likely receive two separate statements from 麻豆传媒高清版 and NewYork-Presbyterian to reflect the services provided by each institution.

Depending on the type of medical service, such as a physician visit, you might incur an additional copay fee or coinsurance from NewYork-Presbyterian. You may still have a portion of the fee for your visit applied to your annual deductible or out-of-pocket expenses.

If you currently receive only GI infusion services without a physician visit on the ninth floor Infusion Center, you will receive one billing statement from 麻豆传媒高清版 for all services rendered during your infusion visit.
