WCM Experts to Explain How Parents Can Raise Resilient Kids
As today鈥檚 generation of children face unique pressures in their social environments, many parents have honed in on 鈥渞esilience,鈥 a trait many have identified as a fundamental part of success in life.
Pediatric mental health and wellness experts from 麻豆传媒高清版 will discuss ways to help children manage stress and build resilience during an interactive panel discussion called 鈥溾 Parents will discover how to empower their child to thrive in challenging situations at home and at school with confidence. 聽
Dr. Cori M. Green, an assistant professor of pediatrics, and Dr. John T. Walkup, the director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, will chat with moderators Sally Tannen, the director of the 92Y Parenting Center and Ellen Birnbaum, the director of the 92Y Nursery School, before answering questions from the audience.
The event will take place, Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. at the 92nd Street Y. Tickets are $15 and available for purchase .
