Dr. Owen K. Davis is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine and Associate Director of the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Program at the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is a world-renowned specialist and leader in the field of reproductive medicine, and a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist.
Dr. Davis is currently President of the and has previously served as President of the . In addition, he has served as the Chief of the Division of Gynecology of Weill Cornell Medical College and is a member and former Chair of Weill Cornell Medical Center's Institutional Review Board.
Dr. Davis' extensive work and research in the field of reproductive medicine bring to patients an essential combination of experience and knowledge of the latest developments in the specialty, including the most advanced medical, surgical and assisted reproductive techniques. Dr. Davis earned his B.A. at Swarthmore College and his M.D. at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and his subspecialty fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where he served as Instructor in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Davis is an Associate Editor of Fertility and Sterility and has authored more than 85 articles on a range of topics in reproductive medicine for leading medical journals. He has presented numerous research abstracts at medical conferences in the U.S. and abroad. He has also authored or co-authored more than 25 chapters for medical text books. His research interests run the gamut of assisted reproductive technology and reproductive endocrinology.
Dr. Davis is profiled in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World. He has been listed in New York Magazine's Best Doctors, New York Super Doctors and Castle & Connolly's Top Doctors - New York Metro Area.
