Dr. Kodiyanplakkal is an Instructor Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ, and an attending physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Her areas of expertise include infections in immunocompromised hosts including oncology patients, bone marrow transplant recipients, and solid organ transplant recipients.

Biographical Info

Dr. Kodiyanplakkal received her undergraduate degree from Yale University. She received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and continued to complete her internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center. She then went to Columbia University Medical Center for her fellowship training in adult Infectious Diseases before joining the faculty at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ.

Dr. Kodiyanplakkal’s clinical interests are in the treatment of viral, fungal, and bacterial infections in immunocompromised hosts. She also conducts clinical research focused on viral and bacterial infections in transplant recipients.
