Dr. Scognamiglio is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and board certified in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (2006).

Biographical Info

Dr. Scognamiglio received her degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University in 2001.  Subsequently, she completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology with us at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell.  During that time, she was exposed to the breast consultation service of Dr. Paul Peter Rosen and also spent a few months on the thyroid consultation service of Dr. Virginia LiVolsi at the University of Pennsylvania. Following her residency training in June 2005, she spent a year as a research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Yao Chen, once again here at Weill Cornell.  She received certification in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology in August 2006.  She was appointed Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in July 2006 and then moved to the clinical track as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in July 2012.
