Of the 1.65 million Americans diagnosed with cancer in 2015, approximately 508,470 (31%) were classified as cancers of the genitourinary system. The most common non-skin cancer diagnosed annually in U.S. men is prostate cancer, with an incidence of 220,000, followed by cancers affecting both men and women, such as bladder cancer in 74,000 Americans and kidney cancer in 61,500 Americans.
